Are you looking to bring yoga to children but don’t know where to start?
Our community is always asking for tips about teaching yoga to kids.
In this series, I share my philosophy by detailing four steps to teaching to children, which are based on my experience as a certified yoga teacher, former primary school teacher, and mom.
We’ll focus on our mindset of “being” a kids yoga facilitator in this series. I believe that we have to start from a strong foundation of our own yoga practice to make our yoga teachings authentic and meaningful for the children.
This four-part video series will get you started and have you confidently teaching yoga to children today.
This series includes:
- Four videos walking you through the steps to teaching yoga to children intentionally and with confidence
- "4 Steps to Teaching Yoga to Children" workbook for you to follow along with each of the steps
- Our “4 Steps to Teaching Yoga to Children” poster which you can hang up to be reminded of the four steps whenever you need a quick refresher
When I say “kids yoga teacher,” I’m referring to all of you in your roles as a parent, teacher, yoga teacher, health practitioner, or caregiver.
Whatever relationship you have with the children in your life, I believe these four steps will help you to feel calm, confident, and creative when introducing or teaching yoga to children.
